One World, One Music, in collaboration with Texas Folklife, presents an exciting program featuring emerging conjunto artists. Mexican conjunto music, also known as conjunto tejano, was born in south Texas at the end of the 19th century. Many conjuntos are concentrated in the Southwestern portion of the United States, primarily in Texas and California.

Texas Folklife is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, celebrating, and promoting the diverse cultural heritage of Texas. They strive to showcase the traditions, arts, and stories of communities across the state through various programs and events and aim to ensure that these traditions continue to thrive for generations by fostering a sense of belonging and appreciation for cultural heritage.

Come join us for a wonderful program and cultural immersion with stories, food and beverage.

Event Details:

  • One World, One Music is a concert series featuring cultural music from around the globe. It is through our shared love of music that we are able to foster a kindred spirit of understanding and respect of where we come from and where we are going as inhabitants of our one world. These concerts all take place in our intimate 'listening room" which feels like a hybrid between a living room and a concert hall.

  • Themed food and beverage is included in the ticket price for all events.

  • Location: Studio A - 6448 East Highway 290, #Suite D-102 Austin, TX 78723
